Spear Units are military units that generally wear leather armour and wield spears, pikes, or various other polearms in melee combat. Though the weapons use described is varied, the actual resource consumed to train them is always spears.
Spear units are best at defense and the strongest counter to cavalry, discounting terrain-specific conditions.
